Chris Mason Appointed Chief Business Officer at Chegg

Chegg, a leading online learning platform, has appointed Chris Mason as its new Chief Business Officer. Mason, who joined the company in April 2023 as Senior Vice President of Business Operations, will now oversee Chegg’s growth strategy, business operations, strategic partnerships, and international expansion.

Nathan Schultz, CEO and President of Chegg, Inc., announced the promotion, stating:

In his new role, Mason will help drive Chegg’s strategy of providing comprehensive support for students throughout their educational journeys. This includes enhancing the platform’s offerings and ensuring that students receive the resources they need to succeed.

Before joining Chegg, Mason served as Vice President of Operations at Guild Education. He also held the position of Global Vice-President of Strategy, Business Operations, and Corporate Development at Marketo, where he played a key role in the company's $4.75 billion acquisition by Adobe. Additionally, Mason was the Director of Business Operations at LinkedIn.
