Boxlight and CrisisGo integrate emergency response systems to improve school safety
Partnership links alert tools from both providers for faster, synchronized communication during emergencies
Boxlight and CrisisGo have announced a new integration between their respective communication and safety platforms.
The collaboration enables school districts to coordinate emergency notifications and alerts across systems, aiming to reduce response times and improve situational awareness during incidents.
Boxlight is a provider of education-focused technology solutions, including interactive displays, audio systems, and communication platforms. CrisisGo develops school safety and emergency management tools used by K–12 districts across the United States.
Bi-directional alerting for coordinated response
The integration connects Boxlight’s ATTENTION! communication ecosystem, powered by FrontRow Conductor, with CrisisGo’s Safety iResponse platform. The systems can now trigger emergency alerts in either direction, allowing notifications to be initiated by school staff through either provider’s interface.
This includes silent alerts activated through Boxlight's FrontRow Action! teacher microphones, control panels, or the myFrontRow mobile app. These alerts can instantly trigger a CrisisGo response and begin coordinating communication with staff and responders.
Demetrius Handelih, Director of Marketing at Boxlight, said:
“At Boxlight, our mission is to maximize learning, simplify communication, and elevate safety in schools. Through our partnership with CrisisGo, we are reducing emergency response time and increasing situational awareness. What makes this integration especially impactful is its bi-directional — either systems can trigger critical alerts and communicate across devices, creating a truly synchronized safety ecosystem. This collaboration represents a meaningful advancement in how schools can prepare for and respond to emergencies.”
CrisisGo expands Safety Forge program
CrisisGo’s Safety iResponse platform includes real-time alerting, threat and behavior management, student accountability tools, visitor monitoring, and anonymous tip reporting. The integration with Boxlight is part of CrisisGo’s Safety Forge Program, which partners with other providers to offer coordinated school safety technology.
Chris Vuillaume, General Manager at CrisisGo, added:
“Through our Safety Forge Program, we are bringing together top-tier technology providers to create a safer learning environment. By integrating CrisisGo with ATTENTION!, we enable schools to ensure instant, clear communication during critical moments—empowering educators and protecting students when every second counts.”
To assist with funding, Boxlight also offers a Grant Assistance Program that supports districts in applying for safety-related federal and state grants.
