Amanda Nolan joins Auspicious Group to shape global learning and workplace transformation strategy

Advisor to Google and HSBC, and expert in learning technology, Amanda Nolan brings her expertise to creative services provider Auspcious Group
The Auspicious Group says Nolan will work alongside its team of Co-CEOs and Chair to grow the company in the US and abroad, while assisting the group on employer branding, communications and change management.
Nolan will also work with the group’s Global Chief Innovation Officer Nicky Hoyland and Global Chief Learning Officer Rob Ashcroft to ensure its digital custom content business, called DBLX, continues to deliver cutting-edge learning systems and proprietary technology.
Nolan joins the Auspicious Group just seven months after its launch and brings expertise from consulting for brands including Google and HSBC as well as investors, funds, startups and scaleups. She is also a sought after speaker and author of LinkedIn course the Future of Workplace Learning.
Nolen comments: “If we want the future of work to be bright, learning is key. But L&D must deliver clear value – both for the business and for the employee. All too often, courses and technologies are being pushed at employees with no clear outcome for either of them.”
“That shouldn’t be the case. Take AI for example. Every business is trying to get employees to adopt it, but then the knee-jerk solution is to offer some course. They totally forget that you have to help them understand why it’s a good skill to have in the first place and why it’s worth their time… then offer opportunities for application and practice that will really build capability.”
“That’s why I’m excited to be part of Auspicious - its unique blending of storytelling to create engagement with high-level learning and tech expertise that delivers value for businesses worldwide.”
Rachel Pendered, Co-CEO of Auspicious Group, adds: “I am beyond thrilled to have Amanda on board at Auspicious. She is an incredible woman and one of the world’s leading figures in learning, tech and work – very few in the sector have the presence and knowhow Amanda does.”
“Amanda’s fingerprints are all over some of the most ambitious workplace transformation projects that are the envy of CEOs, learning and people leaders worldwide. There is nobody better to have alongside us as we expand and build our skills offer.”
