University of Phoenix introduces AI and Big Data skill pathways for professional development
The University of Phoenix has unveiled three new professional development pathways to address the growing demand for expertise in AI and Big Data.
Offered through the institution's Professional Development Skills Center, the pathways—“Big Data Strategies for Business,” “Business Insights through Data Analysis,” and “Data Policies and Practices for Business”—are designed to equip working adults and businesses with the skills required for ethical and data-driven decision-making.
Mukund Sudarsan, Vice President and General Manager of Professional Development at the University of Phoenix, said, “Our new pathways are designed to support working adults looking to gain skills in AI and Big Data by providing practical and flexible training solutions. We know that AI and Big Data are top priorities in company training strategies, and we are focused on helping organizations build the skills they need.”
The skill pathways target key areas of AI and Big Data application:
Big Data strategies for business:
Techniques for data integration to improve decision-making.
Methods for creating predictive models and impactful data visualizations.
Guidance on ethical considerations and regulatory compliance.
Business insights through data analysis:
Tools for cleaning and analyzing data for forecasting.
Approaches to developing engaging data narratives for stakeholders.
Data policies and practices for business:
Training on compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
Strategies to enhance data security.
The online programs are designed for busy professionals, enabling participants to complete skill modules in about four hours at their own pace. Each participant receives a certificate of completion from the University of Phoenix. Businesses can also utilize the platform to track employee progress and recognize their development.
Sudarsan added, “These programs are tailored for flexibility and accessibility, enabling learners to build essential skills while balancing their busy lives.”
