UNiDAYS and Zalando team up to launch Europe-wide student discount program

UNiDAYS, a global platform specializing in verified student discounts, has announced a new partnership with German online retailer Zalando

The collaboration marks Zalando’s first venture into student discounts, offering university students in Germany and across Europe a 10% discount on Zalando’s wide range of fashion and lifestyle items.

Through UNiDAYS, students can access this discount by purchasing gift cards via an exclusive link, giving them access to Zalando’s catalog of shoes, clothing, and accessories from leading brands.

This partnership highlights UNiDAYS’ continued expansion in the German market, where it now provides over 300 discounts and benefits to students, working with prominent European brands to offer incentives.

Students in Germany, as well as in France, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain, are now eligible to use the discount, adding to UNiDAYS’ presence in European student markets.

UNiDAYS was founded in 2011 and has grown to serve over 30 million members globally, connecting students with discounts and offers from more than 800 brands. Zalando, headquartered in Berlin, operates in 25 European markets and has over 50 million customers, providing a multi-brand shopping experience that encompasses both fashion and lifestyle items.

Alex Gallagher, Chief Strategy Officer at UNiDAYS, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Zalando in a collaboration that meets our shared ambition to deliver value to young people. As champions of the student community, we are committed to partnering with the best brands to offer meaningful discounts that make a tangible difference to the purse strings of this group.

This news also marks our continued expansion into the German market and we are proud to continue to serve the student community across Europe.”
