DigitalChalk launches EU data centers to strengthen data compliance and security for european clients

DigitalChalk, a provider of learning management solutions (LMS), has expanded its data storage capabilities to the European Union (EU), addressing regulatory compliance and data security needs for European clients.

The expansion allows DigitalChalk to support companies within the EU with localized data storage, making it easier for clients to meet data protection standards and reduce data security risks.

John Leh, CEO of Talented Learning, highlighted the compliance benefits of DigitalChalk’s expansion, commenting:

“DigitalChalk’s expansion into an EU data center represents a deep understanding of data compliance and sets them apart from other competitors. By prioritizing high-level data security, DigitalChalk reinforces their dedication to their client's success."

The move aims to help clients streamline their training operations while ensuring compliance with regional data privacy laws. With the new EU data centers, companies like financial services firms in Germany can manage training data on DigitalChalk’s LMS platform with added data security measures in place. This step helps these organizations protect employee data and meet regional regulatory requirements.

For EU-based companies such as SaaS providers, DigitalChalk’s LMS offers the benefit of storing training data within the EU. A SaaS company in Italy, for instance, can use DigitalChalk’s platform to conduct implementation training with assurance that data remains within the EU’s jurisdiction, supporting local privacy regulations.

Troy Tolle, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of DigitalChalk, stated:

“Our expansion into EU data centers represents our ongoing commitment to serve clients in new markets with the highest data security standards. This advancement helps our clients to focus on business operations and training programs while we handle the data protection."
