Cornerstone and Meta collaborate to drive AI and XR innovation in workforce learning

Cornerstone OnDemand, a provider of workforce agility solutions, has entered a strategic partnership with Meta to enhance the use of AI and extended reality (XR) in workforce training. 

Announced ahead of Meta’s Innovation Day, the collaboration aims to make immersive learning accessible to more organisations, integrating Meta’s AI developments and XR technology with Cornerstone’s workforce solutions.

Partnership objectives

The partnership between Cornerstone and Meta seeks to address workforce readiness by expanding opportunities for immersive training across industries. Cornerstone brings over 25 years of experience in learning and talent development, while Meta contributes its recent advancements in AI and XR hardware. 

The collaboration will leverage Meta’s open AI research and its focus on ethical AI practices to support organisations in reskilling and upskilling employees through technology-driven solutions.

Meta’s role in the partnership includes providing AI and XR capabilities to support Cornerstone Immerse, an immersive learning platform focused on developing soft skills and customised training content.

Upcoming presentation at Meta Innovation Day

Cornerstone’s Chief Product Officer, Karthik Suri, will present on workforce agility and immersive learning at Meta’s Innovation Day on 5 November at Meta’s headquarters. The presentation will include demos of Cornerstone Immerse and insights into the platform’s potential for future applications.
