Varsity Brands unveils expanded Varsity University for comprehensive educational and sports Support
As schools gear up for the new academic year, Varsity Brands has announced a significant expansion of its Varsity University platform, creating a centralised educational hub designed to empower educators, coaches, athletes, and students.
Varsity University, originally focused on cheer, dance, and band communities, will now offer an expanded range of programmes. This centralised hub aims to enhance back-to-school readiness and overall student well-being.
Through its unified platform, Varsity University will deliver a variety of resources under one login, ensuring easy access for all users.
Aaron Hart, VP of Curriculum & Programme Engagement for Varsity Brands, highlighted the importance of this expansion:

Varsity University will feature four key programmes, each addressing different aspects of student and educator support:
Believe In You: Focused on emotional literacy, mental health, character development, and leadership skills, this programme aims to build school connections and foster student leadership.
OPEN: This programme provides free, standards-based physical education resources, promoting lifelong health and fitness.
SURGE: Launched in March 2024, SURGE is dedicated to coaches of female athletes, empowering girls to develop stronger physical and mental resilience through sports.
Varsity Spirit: Originally the cornerstone of Varsity University, this programme continues to offer trusted resources for athletes, gym owners, coaches, and judges in the cheer, dance, and band communities.
Varsity University’s expansion aims to impact an additional 10 million students and 20,000 educators and coaches within the next year.
The platform will also offer premium on-demand professional development courses for the OPEN and Believe In You programmes, with future courses planned for SURGE and Varsity Spirit.
