University of Phoenix launches CDS Central to support doctoral students

The University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies has launched CDS Central, an online portal designed to enhance the support system for its doctoral students.

The new platform will provide comprehensive resources related to academic pathways, dissertation requirements, and programme guidance.

The new online portal, CDS Central, aims to serve as a one-stop resource hub for doctoral students, offering around-the-clock access to both written and video resources. The portal is publicly accessible through the College of Doctoral Studies’ Research Hub home page or via a direct link.

CDS Central is part of the College’s broader Doctoral Education Ecosystem, which includes the Research Hub launched in 2023 and the Alumni Mentor Programme. The platform includes a variety of resources such as a dissertation handbook, library resources, and academic writing guides.

Hinrich Eylers, Ph.D., P.E., vice provost of the College of Doctoral Studies, highlighted the portal's role in supporting the university's students:

"We have a vibrant community of busy, working adult scholars, and we are always seeking opportunities to support and enhance their learning experience. This new online portal supplements our system of support with 24-7 access to resources that help our practitioner scholars locate the right information in the moment."
