TalentNeuron and Workforce Planning Institute team up to expand workforce planning education
TalentNeuron, a workforce analytics provider that delivers real-time labor market intelligence, and the Workforce Planning Institute (WPI), a global organization specializing in strategic workforce planning education, have announced a partnership aimed at advancing workforce planning education and certification.
The collaboration seeks to equip HR professionals and organizations with the skills needed to adapt to workforce challenges, including artificial intelligence adoption, demographic shifts, and changing skill requirements.
The partnership will focus on three key areas:
Expanding access to workforce planning education and certification programs.
Increasing awareness of strategic workforce planning globally.
Providing professional development opportunities through flexible learning solutions.
David Wilkins, Chief Product and Strategy Officer of TalentNeuron, emphasized the need for workforce planning education.
"We are at an inflection point in how organizations approach talent strategy. We face a unique combination of challenges, including artificial intelligence adoption, demographic shifts, the rise of gig work, and rapidly evolving skill requirements.
“While the CHRO is leading workforce strategy in the boardroom, there's an urgent need for education at every level to navigate this period of change. Organizations need HR leaders who can adapt and guide them through periods of volatility and growth. We're proud to partner with WPI to further their mission of educating HR and other business leaders in the best practices of strategic workforce planning."
Integration with WPI’s workforce planning programs
WPI has developed workforce planning education programs, delivering training to multiple in-house cohorts annually. The partnership will expand WPI’s e-learning platform, incorporating additional content focused on workforce planning curriculum and professional development.
Nick Kennedy, Chief Executive of Workforce Planning Institute, outlined the impact of the initiative:
"2025 is poised to be a transformative year as organizations shift from reactive to proactive workforce strategies. This collaboration is designed to empower businesses to anticipate trends, make data-driven decisions, and build resilient, future-ready teams.
“This partnership is more than a collaboration — it’s a catalyst for a smarter, more strategic approach to strategic workforce planning. There has never been a better time to embrace this initiative and redefine how we prepare for the future."
The companies will host a webinar on March 12, where Wilkins and Kennedy will discuss key shifts in workforce planning for 2025 and how organizations can adapt.
