Docebo and Intercap launch free e-learning platform for small charities and nonprofits

Docebo has partnered with Intercap Impact, a division of Intercap Equity to launch OWL (Open World Learning), a free e-learning platform designed to support small charities and nonprofits across Canada and the US.

The pair want to remove the financial barriers that smaller organisations face in accessing essential online training.

OWL, powered by Docebo’s platform, allows charities and nonprofits to train staff, volunteers, and board members on key topics such as HR compliance, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), mental health, board governance, leadership, and professional development.

The platform is targeted at organisations with fewer than 300 active users per month and provides the opportunity to build skills and knowledge without incurring costs.

"With OWL, we are turning our belief in the limitless power of learning into action. This collaboration removes the cost barrier and extends high-quality training to organisations doing critical work on tight budgets," said Alessio Artuffo, CEO of Docebo. "By providing smaller charitable and nonprofit organisations access to e-learning they couldn't otherwise afford, we're unlocking the potential of learning for all."

The partnership will be formally announced on 22nd October 2024 at the 6th annual Partnership Conference in Toronto, where Intercap’s Chairman and CEO Jason Chapnik, alongside Director of Impact Randi Myers, will introduce OWL to corporate and nonprofit professionals.

“When it comes to online learning, charitable organisations with small budgets have been left behind—until now,” said Myers. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer the award-winning Docebo learning platform to help them build skills and talent and save time and money.”

The initiative is part of Docebo’s wider corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to bridge the digital gap for smaller organisations and make a positive impact on communities across Canada and the US.
