Bites Partners with Unilever Food Solutions to support workforce engagement and launches Bites 2.0
Following a successful $10 million extended seed funding round, Bites, an AI-powered knowledge-sharing platform, has partnered with Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) to develop communication and training for frontline employees.
The collaboration includes the launch of Bites 2.0, a new platform designed to modernize workforce engagement through intuitive and integrated tools.
Unilever Food Solutions, a major provider in the food service industry, faced challenges in engaging its distributed workforce due to outdated systems and low adoption rates. Doron Zilberstein, Managing Director at Unilever Food Solutions, said:
“We previously used another solution that provided low engagement rates and an outdated user experience among our frontline employees. Since implementing Bites, our engagement rates have soared to over 90%. This transformation has not only improved internal communication but has also positively impacted our sales performance.”
Features of Bites 2.0
Bites 2.0 integrates with communication tools such as SMS, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams, removing the need for additional applications. The platform converts traditional training materials, such as PDFs and presentations, into short videos that employees can access as part of their regular workflow.
The AI-powered platform also includes:
Real-time knowledge feeds: Employees can search for information using natural language processing.
Custom workflows: Supports onboarding, skill development, and compliance through tailored content.
Performance insights: Organizations can measure engagement and tie knowledge-sharing efforts to metrics like sales growth and compliance improvements.
Bites 2.0 aims to streamline knowledge distribution, enabling companies to reduce training costs while improving operational efficiency. Tal Nagler Almog, Co-founder and COO at Bites, explained:
“Some things just don’t make sense anymore. Expecting frontline employees to interact with outdated systems simply doesn’t align with how they operate today. Our partnership with Unilever underscores the need for a more intuitive approach, and with Bites 2.0, we’re delivering a comprehensive platform for effective knowledge sharing and workforce empowerment.”
