Azul launches PartnerConnect certification programme to enhance Java services

Azul, a company dedicated solely to Java, has introduced the PartnerConnect training and certification programme. This initiative empowers channel partners to deliver advanced Java advisory and implementation services.

The programme is designed to enhance partners' capabilities in optimising Java infrastructures, managing OpenJDK migrations, improving Java application performance, and increasing DevOps productivity.

The self-paced certification programme includes a mix of training content, exercises, and a certification exam. The curriculum consists of sequential modules covering Java fundamentals, OpenJDK migration best practices, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimisation. The training spans various roles, including sales, engineering, solution specialists, and consultants. The programme is divided into three certification groups.

The Sales Professional Certifications equip sales teams with the skills to effectively position Azul Platform Core, Azul Platform Prime, and Azul Intelligence Cloud to customers. This certification focuses on enhancing the team's ability to communicate the value and benefits of Azul’s products, ensuring they can successfully engage with potential clients and stakeholders.

The Migration Partner Certifications guide implementation partners through advising, managing, and delivering migrations to Azul Platform Core. This certification provides partners with proven methodologies and best practices to ensure smooth and efficient migrations, helping clients transition to Azul’s platform with minimal disruption.

The Partner Engineer Certifications train engineers to become self-sufficient experts in Azul technology. This certification focuses on optimising JVM performance and addressing customer challenges with Azul’s solutions, enabling engineers to provide high-level technical support and effectively utilise Azul's technology to meet client needs.

The PartnerConnect programme, which currently has over 100 members globally, rewards partners with accelerated benefits as they grow. By partnering with Azul, channel partners can assist customers in reducing Java support and licensing costs, tuning application performance, and optimising cloud infrastructure, all while delivering high-value, revenue-generating applications.

Simon Taylor, Vice President of Global Channel Sales at Azul, commented:

"Our new PartnerConnect certification programme offers comprehensive Java journeys tailored to enhance our partners' Java expertise and prepare them for success in delivering related services.

The Java market holds tremendous services potential for our partners. With our PartnerConnect training, channel partners acquire deep knowledge and proficiency across our product portfolio, enabling them to deliver maximum value to customers."
