Wall Street English partners with HCLTech to provide English courses for IT Professionals

Wall Street English, a provider of English language training, has announced a corporate partnership with HCLTech, a global technology company. This partnership aims to offer English language courses for IT professionals to meet the industry’s need for proficient business-English speakers.

This initiative is in response to the growing technology and engineering industry in India, with revenue expected to reach $250 billion by 2024. The collaboration seeks to integrate English education into tech learning, providing a scalable solution to meet the demand.

Wall Street English’s curriculum will be available on HCLTech’s learning platform, Career Shaper, offering high-quality content, proficiency-based courses, and access to qualified teachers and personal coaches online.

James McGowan, CEO of Wall Street English, stated:

“Wall Street English has an established reputation for delivering learner outcomes to individual users. Corporate partnerships are a key part of our future and we are excited to extend our operations in this segment.

“HCLTech is an industry leader, with a significant reach in India and beyond, focused on accelerating transformation for their many partners. This collaboration demonstrates the belief both companies have that English plays a crucial role in the future of business and technology.”

The courses are designed for business success, leveraging the educational expertise of both Wall Street English and HCLTech. They follow a blended learning model, combining structured coursework with the flexibility of self-study, and include reporting and feedback to ensure learner progression.

Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice President & Global Head of EdTech Business at HCLTech, commented:

“Wall Street English has a proven pedagogy to help techies to express their ideas effectively and communicate in an assertive manner.  Both qualities are important for any organisation to foster innovation.

“We are very happy to collaborate with Wall Street English and leverage each other’s strengths to offer technical and job-relevant functional English communication to help aspirants to stay successful in their careers.”
