ViewSonic introduces ClassSwift for interactive teaching and learning

Global tech provider, ViewSonic, has introduced ClassSwift, a new software designed to make lesson plans and curriculum resources interactive.

The software allows teachers to create real-time lessons, gain insights into student comprehension, reduce prep time, and enhance student engagement.

ClassSwift is intended to facilitate interactive teaching, helping teachers engage with students and simplify lesson planning. The software enables customisation of materials and student evaluations, offering real-time performance insights to help adapt teaching methods to individual learning preferences. A centralised dashboard provides class reports, including attendance, assignment records, and test logs.

ClassSwift's interface allows teachers to administer quizzes in various formats, including single and multiple-choice, true/false, and media responses such as drawings and audio.

The software also simplifies group organisation with pre-made student lists and the ability to create groups for activities like tutoring sessions and quick quizzes.

The software is compatible with different interactive displays, mobile devices, laptops, and desktops. The ClassSwift native app works with Windows-based environments, while the ClassSwift Hub management portal operates on any operating system. Upcoming features include AI capabilities for generating quizzes and providing lesson insights.

Haley Hunt, product manager at ViewSonic, said:

“ViewSonic developed the ClassSwift software solution to boost student interaction and allow teachers to engage students more easily. Teachers can utilise the software to adjust their curriculums to meet the needs of their students and align them with the learning objectives.

“Lessons can be delivered in diverse quiz formats, and content can be tailored to individuals and groups. ViewSonic will continue to provide educators interactive tools to move forward with their digital education goals.”
