Transact and CBORD reveal new leadership team to drive innovation after merger

Nancy Langer

Transact Campus and The CBORD Group have announced the formation of a new Executive Leadership Team (ELT) following the merger of the two companies earlier this year.

The newly appointed leadership team, led by Nancy Langer as CEO, aims to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency across the education, healthcare, and corporate sectors, continuing the company’s mission of delivering mobile-first, cloud-based technology solutions.

The merger of Transact and CBORD marks a significant milestone for both companies, enabling them to combine their expertise and resources to better serve their clients. The new ELT has been tasked with overseeing the integration of the two businesses and guiding the future direction of the combined entity.

“We are entering an exciting new chapter at Transact and CBORD, bringing together the expertise and innovation of two industry leaders,” said Nancy Langer, CEO of Transact and CBORD.

“The Executive Leadership Team represents our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our clients and partners while driving transformation across education, healthcare, and corporate markets. With this team in place, we are well-positioned to lead the future of credential, payments, food and nutrition, and commerce solutions.”

In addition to overseeing operations, the ELT will focus on aligning product innovation, customer service, and strategic growth to meet the needs of the company’s global client base. The merger allows Transact and CBORD to accelerate their shared vision of modernising campus operations across various sectors, including education and healthcare, through secure and adaptable technology.

Joining Nancy Langer on the leadership team is Dan Park, who will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer, focusing on the healthcare and corporate markets.

New Executive Leadership Team:

  • Nancy Langer – Chief Executive Officer

  • Dan Park – Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare & Corporate Markets

  • Mechelle King – Senior Vice President, People and Culture

  • Chris Setcos – Senior Vice President, Partnerships & M&A

  • Anusha Reddy – Senior Vice President, Transformation Office & Healthcare Partnerships

The newly formed leadership structure aims to enhance collaboration across different sectors while ensuring that innovation remains central to the company’s mission. The ELT will work to streamline the delivery of integrated solutions for campus IDs, payments, and commerce, with a focus on improving the user experience for students, staff, patients, and administrators.

The combination of Transact and CBORD will enable the company to expand its reach across more than 10,000 organisations globally, providing technology solutions that support education, healthcare, and business campuses. Both companies will continue to operate under their respective brands while sharing resources to deliver enhanced services and support to their customers.

As the leadership team begins its work, the merged company is expected to focus on leveraging its combined resources to drive growth, enhance service offerings, and continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in key markets.

“I’m thrilled to take on this new role as we unify the strengths of both Transact and CBORD,” said Park. “Together, we have an incredible opportunity to continue providing cutting-edge solutions that improve experiences across the sectors we serve.”
