The Skills Network and IEP Renew partnership to boost UK employability services
The Skills Network, one of the largest online education providers in the UK, has announced the renewal of its corporate partnership with the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP).
The renewed collaboration aims to enhance employability services and support for individuals across the UK.
Founded in Yorkshire in 2009, The Skills Network has become the UK's largest provider of e-learning experiences, serving the corporate, public, and educational sectors globally.
Mark Dawe, CEO of The Skills Network, commented on the renewed partnership:
“As an award-winning e-learning training provider, delivering high-quality educational content and resources through expertly developed technology, we are delighted to be renewing our partnership with the Institute of Employability Professionals.
“As a Corporate Affiliate Partner we want to continue to be the go-to education provider in the UK for people working in the employability sector; staying connected with industry professionals but also solidifying new relationships that will help people into meaningful work, meeting key skills gaps within local communities.”
Over the past decade, The Skills Network has supported over 1.6 million learners through its EQUAL learning portal. The platform offers a range of educational content, from Continuing Professional Development courses to professional qualifications at levels two, three, and four. This partnership extension aims to further the positive impact of their educational programmes nationwide.
IEP is the international membership organisation for employability professionals. Their mission is to support individuals in gaining, progressing, and retaining employment.
The IEP has established its presence across the UK and operates in several countries, including the Republic of Ireland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, and Australia. They also collaborate with partners in Canada and the Netherlands.
The IEP represents over 11,000 members worldwide who work to improve the employability prospects of disadvantaged individuals, such as those affected by youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial struggles, homelessness, and lone parenthood. Their members help people identify their aspirations and goals, overcome challenges, and acquire the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to improve their employability opportunities.
Reflecting on the partnership, Dawe stated:
“Over the last decade, The Skills Network has helped over 1.6 million learners using our learning portal EQUAL, accessing educational content from CPD through to professional qualifications at levels two, three, and four. We are excited to extend our partnership which makes such a positive difference nationwide.”
