Sodexo opens four New frictionless eat>NOW stores at U.S. universities using AWS technology

Sodexo has announced the opening of four new eat>NOW frictionless convenience stores across several university campuses in the United States. 

These new stores are located at the University of Maine, Orono; Lindenwood University; Endicott College; and Seattle Pacific University. 

The eat>NOW stores are powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology, enabling a frictionless shopping experience for students. The locations are either already operational or will open shortly. 

Stores are designed to provide students with a quick and easy way to purchase snacks, meals, and other essential dorm supplies without traditional checkouts.

At Endicott College, the new store, called Gull & Go, is located in Venuti Hall, a recently opened residence building. It offers a wide selection of items, including beverages, snacks, healthy options, Simply to Go meals, dorm essentials, and bakery goods, providing students with convenient access to everyday necessities.

The University of Maine, Orono has an eat>NOW store situated in a newly constructed building on campus. This location offers a variety of products, including beverages, snacks, healthy options, Simply to Go meals, breakfast items, dorm supplies, and bakery goods. The store is designed to meet the needs of busy students, offering quick and accessible options.

Lindenwood University’s store, the Lion’s Pride Market, is located in an existing space on campus. It continues to provide a variety of dorm supplies, snacks, beverages, and nutritious food options, ensuring students have convenient access to essentials without leaving campus.

Seattle Pacific University is set to open its eat>NOW store, the Falcon Express Market, in October 2024. Located in an existing space, this store will feature a selection of drinks, snacks, baked goods, nutritious options, and essential dorm supplies, supporting the daily needs of students in a convenient, accessible location.
