Reading Horizons unveils new K-3 Discovery Product Suite for foundational reading success

Reading Horizons has announced the release of the Reading Horizons Discovery Product Suite, a K-3 literacy curriculum designed to improve foundational reading skills for young students.

The suite integrates interactive teaching tools with immersive learning experiences, aiming to provide students with the necessary skills to achieve literacy success across various educational settings.

The product suite expands the EdReports All Green-rated Reading Horizons Discovery programme. It is built on evidence-based methods that align with the science of reading, providing structured yet adaptable instructional support to teachers while offering students engaging and personalised learning experiences.

The Reading Horizons Discovery Product Suite includes three key components: LIVE, WORLD, and COMPANION. Each element supports teachers and students, developing foundational literacy skills across learning environments.

LIVE focuses on supporting teachers in the classroom with structured curriculum materials, real-time progress monitoring, and on-demand coaching resources. Teachers can track students' progress instantly and receive tailored data to adjust their instructional approach based on individual needs.

The WORLD component offers a progressive learning system that adjusts to each child’s development. Through interactive activities and personalised challenges, students are encouraged to develop their reading skills at their own pace, reinforcing what they learn in the classroom.

COMPANION provides teachers and students with additional resources such as phoneme cards, reference posters, and decodable books. These materials aim to reinforce reading lessons with real-world applications and aid in the mastery of literacy skills.

Trisha Thomas, President of Reading Horizons, highlighted the importance of making literacy education accessible to all:

“This suite, built on our evidence-based method, makes the science of reading accessible for students of all backgrounds and easier for teachers to implement in any classroom setting. This innovation removes barriers and streamlines instruction, which allows educators to focus on what matters most—helping students become confident, proficient readers.”
