Pulaski County Schools implement AI security tech with Status Solutions amid rising safety concerns

Pulaski County Public Schools, in the USA, has implemented Status Solutions’ Advanced Situational Awareness (SARA) platform across all schools in the district, expanding its efforts to support student and staff safety.

The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Pulaski County School Board, Board of Supervisors, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Strengthening school safety measures

This implementation comes as school shootings continue to occur regularly across the United States. In 2024 alone, there were 56 school shooting incident. The increasing frequency of violent incidents has prompted many school districts to invest in security measures, including real-time threat detection and emergency response technologies.

Pulaski County has worked with Status Solutions since 2015, integrating safety technology into its operations. The latest expansion builds on that partnership, deploying the SARA platform to provide real-time security monitoring and emergency response capabilities.

Superintendent Rob Graham emphasized the importance of a secure learning environment:

"I firmly believe that a safe and nurturing environment is the foundation of quality education. Through our partnership with Status Solutions and the integration of their situational awareness platform, we are demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our students and staff. This collaboration is a significant step towards instilling a sense of peace and comfort for our teachers, students, and their families."

Community involvement in safety initiatives

The project aligns with Pulaski County’s broader strategy to enhance school security and emergency response systems.

Board of Supervisors member Mike Mooney commented:

"The prosperity of our County lies in the well-being and development of our youth, and we are steadfast in our commitment to student safety and ensuring that the Pulaski County Public School System is the safest division in the region. This is in part made possible through the trusted partnership we have had for numerous years with Status Solutions, and their shared values in helping us to reach an even higher level of teacher and student safety."

The Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce is also involved, working to educate businesses on how they can contribute to school safety through the Status Solutions Network.

As part of the initiative, local businesses can participate in the Status Solutions Network, a digital marketing platform designed to fund school safety initiatives. Through sponsorship opportunities, businesses will gain visibility in the Status Solutions Network Directory, encouraging community members to support participating businesses in return.
