MorganFranklin expands cyber-security with new ThreatGEN partnership and leadership appointment

In an effort to bolster its cybersecurity capabilities, MorganFranklin Consulting has entered into a strategic partnership with ThreatGEN, a company known for its cybersecurity simulation and training platforms.

The collaboration aims to provide advanced tools that enhance how organisations prepare for and respond to cyber threats.

The partnership also brings Clint Bodungen, founder of ThreatGEN and an expert in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity, into the MorganFranklin leadership team.

Bodungen has been appointed as the Director of Cybersecurity Innovation at MorganFranklin, where he will focus on developing new tools, strengthening services, and driving forward innovation within the company’s cybersecurity offerings.

ThreatGEN’s platforms, such as the Red vs. Blue simulation tool and the AI-powered AutoTableTop, will be integrated into MorganFranklin’s cybersecurity services. These platforms offer interactive, hands-on exercises that enable organisations to develop both defensive and offensive strategies against cyber threats.

“Our partnership with ThreatGEN reflects our commitment to delivering best-in-class cybersecurity solutions,” said Keith Hollender, Partner, Managing Director and Global Cybersecurity Services Practice Lead at MorganFranklin Consulting.

“By integrating ThreatGEN’s simulation platforms into our cybersecurity services, we are offering clients an unprecedented opportunity to assess their cyber defenses and engage in real-world, hands-on exercises to prepare their teams for current and future threats.”

Red vs. Blue, a gamified cybersecurity platform, provides users with an immersive experience, allowing them to explore both attack and defence strategies.

Meanwhile, AutoTableTop utilises AI to automate incident response exercises, helping organisations quickly enhance their preparedness for potential cybersecurity incidents.

Bodungen, who will continue his role at ThreatGEN while serving at MorganFranklin, highlighted the value of this dual position. "Joining MorganFranklin offers an exciting opportunity to develop innovative tools that help organisations stay ahead of emerging threats," he said.

Jonah Dimeo, Managing Director at MorganFranklin, also commented on the collaboration: “With Clint joining our leadership team as Director of Cybersecurity Innovation, we are taking our technology-enabled services to the next level.

“His deep industry knowledge and visionary approach to building security solutions will allow us to continue enhancing the ways we serve clients and differentiate us in the market.”
