StockGro and GIIS Dubai collaborate to boost financial literacy for students in UAE

StockGro, an experiential financial education platform based in India, has partnered with the Global Indian International School (GIIS) Dubai to enhance financial literacy among students in grades 9 to 12.

This initiative integrates StockGro’s curriculum into GIIS Dubai’s academic framework, providing students with practical financial skills and knowledge.

Through the collaboration, StockGro offers expert-led sessions every alternate month, covering financial concepts, stock market basics, and strategic investment approaches.

The sessions aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.

A key feature of the program is the stock market learning initiative, which includes model portfolio management exercises. These activities provide students with hands-on experience in trading and investments within a risk-free environment, helping them build confidence and a deeper understanding of financial decision-making.

Ajay Lakhotia, Founder & CEO of StockGro, explained:

"This collaboration bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, preparing students to make informed financial decisions. It reflects StockGro's dedication to empowering the next generation with tools to navigate real-world financial challenges."

Ms. Rajani Manikonda, Supervisor of Senior Secondary School at GIIS Dubai, noted:

"Empowering students with financial literacy is essential in today's interconnected world. This partnership with StockGro introduces our learners to the intricacies of financial management in an engaging, practical manner, ensuring they develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in the global economy."
