Frédéric Hébert takes on Chief Learning Officer role at Rise Up to drive AI learning

Rise Up, a learning technology provider offering AI-driven solutions for corporate training and workforce development, has appointed Frédéric Hébert as Chief Learning Officer (CLO).

The company, which delivers an integrated learning platform supporting e-learning, in-person training, and mobile learning, aims to strengthen its presence in the learning and development (L&D) sector.

Hébert, who previously served as Rise Up’s Chief Product Officer, was responsible for product innovation, including AI-driven personalization and adaptive learning capabilities. In his new role, he will focus on scaling the company’s learning solutions, addressing challenges in workforce upskilling, and enhancing the integration of AI in corporate training.

Hébert has over 15 years of experience in digital transformation within HR departments of multinational corporations, including Renault Group and Alstom. As Head of Digital Learning at Danone, he led global learning initiatives, expanded training programs into emerging markets, and introduced new products.

Frédéric Hébert said:

“Stepping into this new position brings immense opportunities as we seek to change the status quo in L&D. This past year at Rise Up has been a period of remarkable growth and innovation, allowing us to scale at an impressive pace and bring new services to market that answer the demand for more personalized learning in professional development.

“Moving forward, I want to share my vision for creating positive learning experiences by advocating for hyper-personalization as a route to enhance time-to-skill in adult learning and professional development.”

Hébert has contributed to Rise Up’s expansion, including its acquisitions of adaptive learning and data-driven solutions provider Domoscio and instant e-commerce app Yunoo. These acquisitions have strengthened the company’s AI-driven learning and analytics capabilities.

Arnaud Blachon, CEO and Co-Founder of Rise Up, said:

“In a career spanning more than 15 years, Frédéric has established himself as one of Europe’s foremost operators in advanced learning. He is the right person to help us to achieve the international ambition we have for our business in the UK and continental Europe.”

Hébert will speak on the role of adaptive learning in professional development at the World of Learning event on February 4.
