Dent-Phelps R-III partners with Varsity Tutors to boost student learning opportunities

The Dent-Phelps R-III School District has partnered with Varsity Tutors for Schools, a part of the Nerdy company (NYSE: NRDY). The partnership will  provide its students with no-cost access to an extensive online tutoring platform to enhance the district's educational resources by integrating additional tools for student learning.

Varsity Tutors for Schools offers comprehensive educational services, including 24/7 on-demand chat tutoring, essay review, enrichment classes covering SAT and ACT prep, and adaptive assessments. 

Dr. Karla Tiefenthaler, principal of the Dent-Phelps R-III School District, stated: 

“The Varsity Tutors for Schools platform serves as a significant resource when students require assistance, outside of regular school hours or tutoring sessions, or when they’re looking for additional study materials that will benefit them academically.

 “We’re excited to be expanding the District’s tutoring resources with the Varsity Tutors for Schools platform, and we encourage our students and families to take advantage of the extensive learning tools it provides.”

This platform is part of a broader adoption across the U.S., with over 500 school districts utilising Varsity Tutors for Schools.
