Xello partners with NYC Public Schools to boost career readiness among students

Xello, a K-12 college, career, and future-readiness programme, has partnered with New York City Public Schools (NYCPS), the largest school district in the United States.

The partnership supports the district's FutureReadyNYC initiative, which aims to prepare students for rewarding careers and long-term economic stability.

New York City Public Schools includes over 1,600 schools across five boroughs, serving approximately one million students and staff. It is the largest public school system in the U.S., employing more than 75,000 teachers.

The partnership offers a significant scope for Xello to implement its career exploration and planning tools suite. Xello's platform is designed to be personalised for each student, helping them identify their strengths, explore post-secondary options that align with their career goals, and prepare for future professional success.

Matt McQuillen, CEO and Co-Founder of Xello, commented on the collaboration:

"We are honoured to partner with New York City Public Schools at such a pivotal time in their educational evolution. Our collaboration expands our mission to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to face a rapidly-changing global workforce with confidence. Together, we are poised to make a lasting impact on the students' lives by ensuring they are future-ready."

The FutureReadyNYC initiative, a large-scale effort, has been initiated in 102 NYCPS high schools, with 41% of these schools already implementing the first year of the program with Xello.
