Grammarly rebrands to Superhuman and launches new AI assistant Superhuman Go

Grammarly, an AI communication provider, has announced it is rebranding its company name to Superhuman.

Grammarly will continue to be offered as part of Superhuman’s suite of products, alongside collaborative workspace Coda, AI email client Superhuman Mail, and a new AI assistant called Superhuman Go. The company acquired Superhuman earlier this year.

Superhuman says its Go assistant will proactively look for opportunities to help users say something in a better way or complete a task faster.

Superhuman’s CEO Shishir Mehrotra announced the update on LinkedIn, explaining: “If you’re having a conversation in a thread and the discussion needs to move to a meeting, Go will surface your availability and help you book the meeting in the moment. You don’t need to pull up your calendar or open a tab to write a prompt. Go will bring AI inside every app to help you when you need it.”

Mehrotra also shared that Superhuman’s Coda and Superhuman Mail products will become more proactive, with Coda organizing and writing itself. Coda will automatically process transcripts at the end of a meeting and create action items, turning the conversation into a plan.

“When AI fits naturally into where you work, it really starts to change how you work. At first, you think faster and more deeply. Soon, you never drop the ball. And before you know it, you have the time to be more creative, strategic, and impactful—free to do what only you can do,” Mehrotra added.

“Our new company name supports our broader ambitions and all the things we have in store for our customers.”

In August, Grammarly announced the launch of eight new specialized AI agents for students. The new assistants can support specific writing challenges such as finding credible sources and checking originality.
