Edmentum acquires translation tool MajorClarity, creating end-to-end career discovery tool
Edmentum, a digital learning solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of MajorClarity, a digital tool that translates student career plans into actionable academic plans.
Edmentum says the acquisition means it is now the only end-to-end solution connecting career discovery, academic planning, and certification preparation for college-bound and career-ready students.
"In the pursuit of college and career readiness for high school graduates, there has long been a gap between the vision—access and opportunity for all students, exposure to relevant and high-demand options, rigorous workforce-aligned learning, and the ability to enter into and succeed in both college and career—and the means for practical, scalable implementation. Edmentum says that research shows rates of student engagement increase as they participate in career-connected learning opportunities. It says career programs can improve high school graduation rates and set up students for future success.
