EdisonLearning secures 1EdTech data privacy certification for its eSchoolware platform
EdisonLearning, an educational services provider, has achieved the 1EdTech Data Privacy Certification for its eSchoolware digital learning platform.
The platform offers over 150 core and elective courses for grades 6-12 and 30 career technical education courses and dual enrollment courses from 475 accredited colleges and universities across the United States.
1EdTech, a non-profit educational technology community, conducts rigorous testing to ensure that products meet specific standards for secure storage and handling of sensitive data.
The certification process confirms compliance with key standards and features set by 1EdTech, which include alignment with federal regulations such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Since its founding, EdisonLearning has provided educational content, resources, and support designed to meet the needs of diverse learners. The 1EdTech certification validates the company's efforts to ensure data privacy and security in its digital learning platforms.
