ClassWallet introduces Centre of Excellence for early care and education

ClassWallet has announced the creation of an Early Care and Education (ECE) Centre of Excellence.

The initiative aims to support childcare professionals, providers, ECE programmes, and government agencies in developing effective and efficient government-funded programmes for early childhood care and education.

In 34 states across the USA, Classwallet provides government programme administrators with tools to ensure spending compliance at the state and local levels.

Building on its successful collaboration with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL), ClassWallet's new Centre of Excellence is set to enhance the impact of various grant programmes aimed at early childhood education.

Rian Ringsrud, Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration at DECAL, stated:

"ClassWallet’s automated payments platform has assisted us in distributing funds across Georgia, providing greater access to resources for childcare programmes and teachers. These resources are being used to improve classroom quality and maintain healthy and safe environments, while simultaneously enabling fiscal accountability and transparency."

The new Centre of Excellence aims to streamline the distribution of public funds to qualified families, early childcare providers, and educators.

The Centre of Excellence will be led by Michael López, Ph.D., Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives in Early Child Care. Dr. López has over 30 years of experience in policy-relevant research focused on ECE and equity at the national, state, and local levels

Jamie Rosenberg, CEO of ClassWallet, said:

"We established the ClassWallet Early Care and Education Centre of Excellence to pave the way for qualified families, early childcare providers, and educators to benefit from public funding and quickly receive the financial support they need.

“The new centre will help us broaden our scope as an organisation and use our digital wallet technology to better serve ECE programmes, providers, families, and, most importantly, our nation’s children well before they enter kindergarten."
