PlayVS and Omnic.AI connect to bring AI-powered performance analytics to high school e-sports

PlayVS, a North American esports platform, has announced a partnership with Omnic.AI, a gaming analytics platform, to provide AI-powered performance analysis tools to varsity and middle school gamers.

The team-up is designed to help young players improve their skills using data-driven insights.

PlayVS is a scholastic esports platform in North America, facilitating organised esports competitions for high school and college students. The platform works with educational institutions to integrate esports into school activities, aiming to develop skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication in students. PlayVS partners with organisations like the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the Special Olympics to make esports part of the extracurricular landscape in schools.

Omnic.AI is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyse gameplay and provide insights for players looking to improve their performance. The system allows users to upload gameplay footage and receive data-driven feedback, which helps refine their strategies and skills in various popular games, including Valorant, Rocket League, and Fortnite. The platform’s use of AI in performance analysis connects to educational technology by supporting the development of analytical and decision-making skills in students.

The platform will soon expand its coverage to Madden. Through this partnership, PlayVS will offer its community of high school gamers access to Omnic Forge’s tools at no cost, giving them a competitive advantage in scholastic esports.

Players using the free Omnic Forge service can upload five matches at a time, receiving two key insights per match. Those who subscribe to the Forge Plus service can upload unlimited matches and receive more detailed analysis of their gameplay.

Players can also match with professional gamers for personalised feedback. PlayVS will also work with esports coaches to train the Omnic Forge AI, ensuring that the platform’s insights are tailored to competitive needs.

“We’re excited to collaborate with PlayVS to bring our gaming analysis capabilities to a broader audience,” said Shaun Meredith, Co-founder and CEO of Omnic.AI. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to help gamers improve their skills, win more games, and have fun.”

In an exclusive quote for ETIH, Jon Chapman, CEO of PlayVS, stated:

"Teaming up with Omnic.AI is a big step in how we support young gamers. Omnic.AI’s cutting-edge tools will help our players sharpen their skills and stand out in the competitive esports scene, empowering them to succeed both in-game and beyond. This partnership also builds on our vision for the PlayVS Collective—a community-focused resource hub that gives players the tools and support they need to grow, thrive, and lead, both as competitors and future leaders."
