Hambro Perks Invests in AI Education Innovator CENTURY

Hambro Perks has made its tenth investment from its Growth Debt Fund into Century-Tech Limited ("CENTURY"), a company recognised for its AI-driven education technology.

CENTURY was established in 2013 by Priya Lakhani OBE and is based in London with a workforce of nearly 100 employees and a team of educators, neuroscientists, and technologists. They develop and license their proprietary AI education software to educational institutions globally on a SaaS basis.

The platform is designed to cater to a wide range of educational stages, from KS1-2 through to GCSEs and further education colleges, covering subjects such as English, maths, science, geography, Theory PE, Functional Skills, and Essential Digital Skills.

Stephen Fahy, Partner at Hambro Perks Growth Debt Fund, commented on the investment: “CENTURY’s award-winning AI technology helps address challenges in the education sector, including reducing teacher workload and enhancing teaching resources. CENTURY’s ecosystem uniquely links assessments, teaching, and learning to create a powerful data and intelligence engine across the education sector. We are delighted to welcome them into our portfolio of IP-rich companies and look forward to supporting their global vision for the education sector.”

Priya Lakhani OBE, Founder and CEO of CENTURY, remarked on the partnership, “We’re really excited to be working with Hambro Perks and to join their portfolio of industry-leading businesses. Their investment will allow us to continue our global expansion on a mission to improve education through innovative, effective, and ethical AI technology.”
